Ever needed to quickly switch between user-agent strings on the fly? Developing a site that needs to work on both mobile browsers and desktop browsers? Sick of some archaic site blocking you because you're not using Netscape 4?
The User-Agent Switcher for Chrome is the answer. With this extension, you can quickly and easily switch between user-agent strings. Also, you can set up specific URLs that you want to spoof every time.
Please note that this does not provide improved privacy while browsing the Internet and that some sites might have other means to figure out that the browser is not what it pretends to be. Running this extension can have performance impact on your browsing experience due to its need to intercept and modify the data communicated to the server.
NOTE: if some sites have problems after using a mobile user-agent, and won't switch back no matter what you spoof, you will need to switch the user-agent back to Chrome *and* clear your cookies for the sites to treat the browser normally again.

By far the best user agent extension I've found : super easy to use, and has a pretty extensive list of platforms/agents. I prefer this extension over Adobe's Edge Inspect or any other Firefox extension I've tried! One thing that is imperfect about the extension is getting any of my webfonts to display properly in Exp 7 - 9, but then again, I've yet to see any browser agent tester successfully do so. Other than that, I love this extension and use it daily! Hope to donate soon, thank you for creating and sharing!
I am trying to disguise Chrome 34 (beta) as Chrome 33 (stable) and it is not working, even after a restart. Either this is a plugin problem or a browser problem, in which case the plugin should notify me.
다 좋은데 이번 3월 27일 업데이트 이후 영구눈속임이 안먹히네요. 업뎃전버전 쓰려면 어떻게 해야하죠?
Seems to do the job it sets out for. Unfortunately it prevented me from logging into gmail. maybe needs a bit more work.

blocked all my websites today...even steam wasn't able to connect because of this extension.
Great extension. I wanted to be able to use Chromium instead of (boo, hiss, etc) Firefox to sell on eBay - and this does it perfectly. Better yet it lets me set it up to "always-be-firefox" whenever I'm on an eBay site.
