Tired of wasting time looking look through and re-sorting all of your notes on Google Keep?
With Category Tabs for Google Keep™, you can now sort your new and existing notes by category. Each category represents one color. Adding a note to a category is very easy, just change the color of the note. When you want to view the notes you have sorted by color, simply click on the note color you wish to view. If you would like to view your you entire collection of notes/checklists, there is an “All” option next to the color options (this option is set by default).
Category Tabs for Google Keep™ seamlessly integrates into the page and the options to look at your notes/checklists in list view or gird view is still available. The ability to post a quick note/list/picture is still available as well and is still placed in the same spot as it usually is. This application supports all the colors offered by Google Keep.
You can access the settings by opening the menu in google keep, and hit "Customize Categories"

Not compatible with dark mode. The text on the labels are still black instead of white like on the screen shots shown on the download page.
Pretty useful. I would like if it allowed you to OMIT a color, e.g. show me notes of all colors except Chalk.

Impressive extension, but I don't understand what the option 'make color selection context-aware' does. I mean, I assume it should automatically select the color when a note is tagged or vice versa, but it doesn't do anything.

I think this is a great addition to Keep. The one thing I'd like is if you added a note to a category by Label it would add the colour automatically. I'm much more familiar with my category names and some of the colours are quite similar so it's difficult to add the colour & pick the right one especially with a small screen where the note covers the categories at the top. Using the colours to scan through the notes is easy as it using the filters.
A ideia desta APP é bastante interessante, mas não é muito funcional pelo Keep só permitir um número restrito de cores e, depois, por não permitir associar uma cor a um tema de forma nativa. Para quem usa a APP apenas no computador, até pode fazer sentido, mas quando usa no smartphone pode desconfigurar tudo. Sinceramente, é uma pena que o Keep não tenha algo como tem o Gmail que tem marcadores e submarcadores. Nisso a CloudHQ tem feito um excelente serviço. Olhem o exemplo do Gmail Tabs. Eu acredito que uma extensão poderia trazer a opção de marcadores e submarcadores, sendo, por exemplo, o marcador #compras e um dos seus submarcadores seria o #compras_úteis. Com essa extensão, "úteis" apareceria dentro "compras" e compras poderia ter uma cor associada. Infelizmente não sei programar.
