Ever started watching something on Netflix, just to notice eventually that it's really bad?
This free and lightweight extension adds IMDb Ratings right into Netflix, so you know what you're getting yourself into before hitting the play button.
Pro Tips:
- The IMDb Rating features a Tooltip that includes more meta information (plot, awards, metascore, etc.).
- When you click the IMDb Rating a new tab will be opened with the respective IMDb page (which includes trailers and more information).

It works, but why does it require a permission to view browsing history?
Indispensável depois que a netflix removeu as opiniões dos Users. Extensão leve.
The extension is pretty good. Got couple of questions though. Why it sets Chrome to run in the background? What possible reason would there be for such an extension to do that in the first place? Another weird thing is that the extension occupies 30MB of ram, from the launch of the browser. It's irrelevant if you have netflix opened or not, in fact the consumption of ram DOESN'T change if you open a netflix tab, it stays right there at 30MB. I understand the extension has to look for netflix opened tabs, but isn't it bad optimization when it takes exactly the same amount of ram whether the tab is open or not? Are all of its components loaded at all times? Finally, on Daredevil tv show i get this message: "Didn't find the IMDb id for this title (yet!)". Daredevil is a very popular netflix show, so it doesn't really make much sense that it doesn't display the score, right? And if we're being nitpicky here the message is kinda unprofessional. I'm giving it 3 stars mostly for the RAM thing (also the background thing, but you can disable that so it's no biggy), i seriously don't get how it's possible for the extension to consume the same amount of RAM whether it's being used or not. Change my mind about that and i'll change my review as well :)
Installed on my chromebook today and voila! Works like a charm! Why isnt this just built into netflix? And wouldnt it be great if you could filter movies with > than selected value! I get it, tricky, but makes you wonder...Thanks for you work Tim AB Canada.
Good extension, but with a few things to improve: 1) There should be a quick way to update the rating for a title. I just noticed not all ratings are up-to-date, e.g. there was a title with 6.6 (12 votes), but when I opened the IMDb page it was 4.8 (>6k votes); many others say "No rating". 2) There should be a way to suggest IMDb pages for movies/shows that show "Not found". It could be stored locally, and if enough people vote for the same title it should become the default for everyone. 3) We are missing customization. Markdown with some variables to add to the text being displayed would be great, but we probably don't even need that much. It could also be possible to customize the whole box, but that's definitely too much for a lightweight extension.
Does what is says! Thank you.
Works like a charm! Suggestion; can you add the year of release as well so it isn't necessary to click to extend. For me you could just remove the '??% match' part and place it there :) Otherwise 'Green Lantern (2011)' would work for me as well. What do other people think?
It's broken, doesn't show ratings, only a question mark pops up on the cursor when you hover where the rating is supposed to be.
Çok kullanışlı.
great extension!
