Are you sick of Elon's "For You" tab on X (formerly Twitter)? Do you wish it would just go away? Well you're in luck!
This simple Chrome Extension will remove X's "For You" tab completely.
Remove X For You works if you have pinned Lists, as well. Normally, if you refresh the page from a pinned List, it will default you back to the For You tab. No longer will you be defaulted to the For You tab...because it won't exist!
***Remove X For You does not access your data in any way. It is automatically disabled outside of x.com. It does not have any settings or options. It's as simple and safe as a Chrome extension gets.
(So far, this extension only works on X in English. Compatibility with other languages coming soon!!!)

i don't know if it's a bug or if x/twitter has changed their code or if it's an issue on my end but "for you" is showing again for me. i give this extension a 5 star rating but only for the times it works XD
This needs to be updated. "twitter.com" no longer exist, it now forwards you to x.com. this is not filtering for you because of that.
It does what the title says, thank god no more pushing generic gore and "insane clips" content on my page. all social media is trying to brain rot its users now, can't even be left alone with what I want to browse.

Good extension! It works if twitter language setting is English. But it doesn't work at Japanese.
Still works. Makes Twitter so much more bearable to read through.
