Reader View extension brings Mozilla's open-source Readability implantation to Chromium. Using this extension you can strip clutters from webpages and read them on "Reader View" mode. The extension allows you to toggle between normal view and reader view by pressing the page-action button.
Note that reader view mode works best for web pages that have a lot of content. There are some tools in the left side panel that can help you personalize your Reader View. You can change color, background-color, font-size, font-family and width of the reader view.

Pretty nice app - except printing cuts off all but page one (on mac)...
Excellent, I can tell a lot of thought and effort went into this extension. Nice touches like highlighting the words as they are spoken put this extension in another level. Thank you
dark mood is not so comfortable. add more theme or let us customize the color combination of text and background. i'll give it a 5 then
Would definitely recommend this! Have tried quite a few, this one suits best to remove the clutter while providing the user with more than enough options to adjust the view. Go for it!
Most used by me extension
The only thing I regret is, that I didn't know about the existence of this plugin years ago. Not only does it make content-rich sites much easier to read, it can be easily tailored to your reading preferences (line width, font size, inclusion of images etc), but it also allows you to share/save/print the READABLE contents of a page. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am simply amazed how useful this extension is
I like this thing.
I think the experience with this extension can be improved. Idk what limitation may have made you decide to load readview on a separate page, but I suggest you create an iframe to load it in, rather than navigating to a whole new page. It will save navigating back and forth between the website I'm reading and the readview page. Plus this will make it more like the firefox and safari readview.
Reader View is breathtakingly perfect -- and easy to use!
