It's a nice idea, but this thing sucks. It scrolls from the very top all the way down your history every time you open it, and there's no way I can find to clear the history. Once it gets long, this can take several seconds. Every time you open it. It also lacks a bunch of calculations, or doesn't tell you what their names are because they appear to be different than the normal names everyone uses. There's no "history" button that will enter each calculation in your history in reverse-chronological order into the terminal. There appears to be no "previous calculation" carryover so you can enter new calculations starting with an arithmetic sign and have them apply to the most recent result. I didn't realize this was vibe coded until just now. Yeah. That tracks.
It cannot do powers without writing pow(), when I try to do it like how many online calculators would: using ^. But expected from a fully AI written app.
I wish there were a way to clear the history without completely removing and re-adding the whole extension.
1. need the ability to convert currencies. 2. pressing the up arrow should give previous command, not error message.
This is a good replacement for Cloudy Calculator. Does the job fast and seems stable.
