What's New in 3.0:
==================
* Updated to Manifest V3.
Before Chrome 52, the backspace key navigated back (if you weren't writing text). Many people lost their progress while working online by accidentally pressing backspace and leaving a page -- so we removed the feature from Chrome, and created this extension for those who prefer the old behavior.
This extension can't restore backspace on certain special pages, for example any of the "chrome://" pages such as Settings or Extensions.

Trying to counteract the reviews from people who don't understand the difference between rating an extension and rating the need for an extension.
Like a lot of people I'm rating this one star to complain about the removal of the backspace shortcut without any warning or notice, and for not giving any option to retain it.
Breaks your ability to actually use backspace within many forms. This is ridiculous... There was nothing wrong with the warning message users would get that they were about to lose unsaved/unsubmitted data if they hit backspace while outside of a box. Stop pretending that this wasn't the previous behaviour and trying to spin this change as a data-loss prevention move. Removing backspace in the first place was trying to fix something that wasn't broken, and this extension breaks even more things trying to provide a workaround "fix" for what was unnecessarily broken to begin with.
Can't believe this is even necessary, I don't know a single person outside of my CS major who even knows that ALT + <-- is a thing.
It is going back page even if you press backspace in text editing field!!! So, you are writing a review and puff - your page disappears when you want to correct mistake! And also, 1 star because this extension exists - like many other users commented.
I shouldn't need this.
Now work!
