Was in need of the same, and thought of writing a code/plugin for the same... then found this extension and bunch of guys who already did the God's work!! and it's sooo good that I gave up my project idea and happily started using this! This is sooooo good!!! <3 (will keep dropping feature requests in issues!)

God, I was thinking of writing an extension because I am sick of youtube being a d**k and not writing a simple piece of code that makes lyrics appear the way spotify does. You Sir, just saved me a lots of trouble of figuring out how to do the same. 1 search and bang there was your extension. AND I LOVE IT!!!!

Why is this not working on the Youtube web APP?
phenomenal . I'm yet to test how light the scripts are (dev said it's lightweight) it's fantastic. the lyrics are synced properly, there's a translation option (which works..okay I guess, not the best but most welcome) . the extension also adds a GORGEOUS ambient theme , which is the best i've seen out of all extensions. the way the color diffuse are great without being too much "in your face" my only gripes are that better lyrics can take several seconds to load...and the fact that there's no synced lyric theme that doesnt have a fancy animation (which frankly is very annoying and distracting) I need to find a good methodology to test the performance and resources usage. if the dev could provide with his own testing that'd be great

This extension is awesome. Makes YT Music look better and works super cool. Please help me why blur album art not showing in the background. I enabled this mode but it is not showing in the background.
Its a shame youtube music doesnt have this by default!
