Super helpful!
Love it, too bad it's way unresponsive!
--- UPDATE: Seems to have gone down hill with a recent release. Middle-clicking on an entry opens the link, but no longer removes it from your list. Apparently you have to perform two steps to clean up your corral now. --- At first I thought I would hate it--but a friend urged me to try it for a week. It's awesome. Hands down. The only drawback is that it's slow to open the tab wrangler icon on the toolbar. With 70 sites in the corral, it can take over a minute to open on a dual 2.4 GHz quad-core i7 laptop with mirrored Intel SSDs. A workaround I've found is to right-click the extension, then click the 'options' menu. It *immediately* opens the list of tabs. I'm not sure why getting the list via the icon takes so long when the 'options' route works lightning fast. The only think I think it's missing is an option to corral a tab immediately. There are some things that I know are taking up space, and I want to get back to them later.
This used to be OK but now its slow and sluggish. Plus no new features or improvements in over a year and a half. There is another extension just like this but its being developed still and has more functions. They are almost identical though. Try Tab Shepard. Much better than this. Tab Shepard much better than this and still being developed and updated.
It works as mentioned but slows down a lot.
I am a big fan of Tab Suspender, but I decided to give this extension a try. Surely this must save more memory compared to the Suspender extension. This one actually closes and saves the tabs, whereas Suspender simply "freezes" each tab without actually closing it. Imagine my surprise when Wrangler had 15 open tabs, and 8 of them closed+saved, my memory usage was 2.9GB My memory usage with 15 tabs open with Suspender? 2.4GB To top it off, I HATE how this extension closes my tabs and causes confusion. Sure, they're saved onto a list, but it's incredibly difficult to look at that list to determine where all the tabs were previously, and trying to reorder them is a chore. With other extensions that simply freeze each tab without closing them, I don't have to worry about saving them, closing them, or reopening them. Lastly, unlike OneTab or Session Buddy, this extension doesn't make it obvious how to have the saved tabs page open. Clicking the favicon opens a popup menu instead of the page in a new tab. Ironically, that must include a lot more work compared to just opening a new page with the list of saved tabs.
Awesome!
Açık kalan tabları otomatik kapatıyor bence kullanışlı
It is quite useful for me, since I never close tabs. But as a user I want to be able to set auto-close interval to more than 720 minutes. I would be happy if I could set it to 24 hours
Is it not possible to improve the performance? When I click on its icon, it takes like second or 2 till it opens. Its like it is downloading something from slow server. But it should not be, it should open in miliseconds so I would not feel anything. I have Intel COre i3-4160 CPU @ 3.60 GHz, 8 GB RAM, SSD disk. So powerfull pc
