As someone who has found it hard to concentrate through tasks, Kaizen Flow has helped to catapult my productivity. I LOVE that this is a Pomodoro timer that comes with a choice of lo-fi music and/or alpha waves. (I've been on the look out for ages for a website/app that does both & this is the only one I've found!) Alpha waves have been scientifically proven to help with focus & the fact that this product combines both saves me from having both a timer and alpha wave tabs open like I previously did. I also really like that there is a leaderboard posted on Twitter daily because I feel part of a community of people working towards their goals. This app really helps those who are neuro-divergent or struggle with focusing through tasks and I'm so happy this is finally a thing!!

There's SO MUCH to love about the brilliant simplicity of this. The only drawback for me—which made it unusable—is the inability to change the timer from 25min to 20min. Here's why that's important: For years I was getting neck/back pains, eye fatigue, and headaches. I happened to mention it to my eye doctor and she said it's because I'm staring at a computer screen for extended periods of time. She recommended the 20/20/20 principle: every 20 minutes, look at something 20ft away for at least 20 seconds. Ever since I started doing that, all back pain, headaches, and eye fatigue is gone. So... now I'm super conscious of ONLY working in 20min sprints. And when I don't, I can feel it. And if there is ever an ability to simply change the timer to 20min, I'll be using this app religiously.
