This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

A great extension with no match. Very useful. Deserves 5 stars rating.
I decided to try Dark Reader after scrutinizing the Privacy Policy. My first priority was finding a dark mode extension that doesn't skim any data from pages that I'm viewing and Dark Reader checked that box better than any other extension I looked into. It works incredibly well, even if a bug pops up every once in a while. The developers are always updating the extension to keep up with the internet as it changes so bugs don't last very long. Their recent blog post highlighted the disgusting review bombing that has happened with a recent bug and they don't deserve that. This is a free extension and they put more care into it than some triple-A developers out there.

Non è questo addon a togliere risorse al PC, è Chrome che dovrebbe andare dal nutrizionista per ridurre la RAM che ci porta via.... Continuate così, state facendo un ottimo lavoro :)
The people leaving negative reviews are ungrateful spoiled brats with zero accountability. This plugin has been a godsend to me for years. It's the first thing I install, before f.lux and twilight even. If it's not working, maybe blame the million other things that change at any given time before blaming this extension! Personally, it has always worked perfectly for me. Odds are something else changed and the developer of this FREE extension will get to or maybe YOU are the problem. Maybe try donating if you expect zero downtime!
