This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Saves my eyes!
I tried so many of the Dark Theme extension but this is really a good one I would say a Perfect one :-) Happy with the Extension

5 stars on my Windows laptop, but 1 star on my Chromebook. I ended up disabling it on my Chromebook, because it slowed everything to a crawl. This has been an issue since at least a few years ago when I first discovered this extension.
Works really nice and the best part is it doesn't affect any backgrounds i have on chrome.

Until now it was not working great for leetcode. However, it looks like they have made a great enhancement! Bravo...
Good extension when it works. It has multiple modes that you can choose from site-by-site if needed, so you can tune it to what looks the best. Very few issues with most sites, and for sites that do have issues, you can exclude them in the extension settings. I'd rate this extension much higher except for the fact that it crashes a lot. Most of the time going into manage extensions and restarting Dark Reader fixes it, but the rest of the time I need to do a browser restart to get it working again. If they could figure out the constant stability issues this one would be 5 stars.
