This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

The problem is that many of my searches might be for images. I did a search for our thing called HelloScreen in my normal chrome search bar and it immediately ran that in chatgpt. I'd like the chatGPT search to be alongside the google search or i have to uninstall this. My use for google search is not just for information, it's also for searching images quite often. ChatGPT already gives me answers, I use it more than google but I'd love chatGPT alongside Google.

Surprisingly nice. Given Google torpedoes their search quite a while ago I may start leaning on this pretty heavily.
Does Google know this thing exists. I'm going to stay here for a while and Google will be missing my ad revenue. So, far I'm at 4 stars because it still feels weird not to have to wade through sponsored results, but wading through the results is part of the experience. I sometimes glean information from all the results sponsored or un-sponsored. I do like that it provides results in ChatGPT because its familiar and feels like another conversation with "George" (my name for ChatGPT). I do like how it provides sources. I almost want to see them in a search result list like we have in Chrome, but I like how this is shifting the paradigm for search. When did this release? There are only 29 ratings, 4.6 out of 5 stars, and 5,000 users.
