This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Respectfully, It's not working on brave i don't know why maybe i am dumb or there is some problem i am using brave in ubuntu as a snap package please reply ASAP.

Marking two star because it's all or nothing. I don't want my default search to be chatgpt. But a toggle to switch to it would be useful.

too ambitious, thoughtless and inconvenient. What about images and the other 100 Google features?
This feature is great, but right now I can't use it. This is because every time I search anything, it creates a new chat history which frustrating when looking into the past important chat history. Instead, an option should be given that when searching everytime, chat history don't get saved or saved anywhere else. "DEVELOPERS THINK ABOUT IT".
