This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

кто не понял что происходит: на само расширение нажимать не нужно. У вас просто поисковая строка по умолчанию теперь стала чатом и если вы в поиск введете запрос, то откроется чат
У меня вместо поиска, открывается эта страница.
It takes a while to show the search results. Omni bar search queries needs a snappier UI.
Excellent ! Mais il faudrait avoir la possibilité de faire des recherches "éphémères", comme il est déjà possible de le faire pour les chats, car toutes les recherches web polluent notre historique de chats et on doit donc régulièrement les supprimer par la suite.
Me parese una muy buena idea. Pero es molesto que se abra el chat cada vez que se realice una busqueda y que se guarde la busqueda como un chat más. Excelente idea pero con por ahora me quedo con el buscador trandicional. Debe mejorar la UI/UX.
Amazing!!! Better than google.
The UX isn't great, opening a new chat window on every search is annoying not to mention it adds to the chat history on the left so now finding more important chats will be harder as there will be an annoying long list of chats that are searches, this doesn't work as an extention without a full reskin of the UI/UX for search, Chat is not search so don't expect the behaviors to be the same ... I want this in my search I just don't want to do it this way, I'll put this on ice until this is figured out
The idea of this is great, and so I support its development full-heartedly! However, it doesn't seem to work on ChromeOS (using PixelBook Go).

It always open new popup of chatgpt conversation. So its not bad but when I want open something by google search then I always need add !g and that too slow for me. I'd rather have it the other way around. always use google search and only when I want to put !g and chatgpt search is used
