This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Installed and uninstalled immediately. Just read the negative reviews! It clutters your ChatGPT conversations with every search as new conversation, replaces everything you are used to and gives only standard ChatGPT that you can access directly. This add-on doesn't offer anything. It only collects all your personal data that it didn't have access to directly.

I love that I can select some text, right-click it, and query ChatGPT for it. I hate that it replaces my regular search engine, however. Really needs to be separate options.

the reason google works so well is that it is extremely to the point a really good Idea, I would just have two things that I think are crucial to make this work better. don't add common searches to your chats to chat. and also make an option to see every result in the search bar so you can get what you need if chat doesn't give it to you
I use this all the time for work and personal. I highly recommend, it makes my life a lot easier.

Pésima implementación, no puede ser que "sólo" sea un burdo reemplazo del buscador de google sin aportar valor, debería trabajar con la data de la página, como para pedir los datos relevantes de la misma, resúmenes, investigación sobre los datos de la página, etc. Se desinstala.
