Unleash the power of sound, no matter what speakers or headphones you're using. I made this extension so I could blast music on my laptop. Pick how much louder you want the sound to be on audio from any chrome tab. This will work on any audio coming from any tab, and has been successfully tested on both Mac and Windows.
If you are on Windows and are having issues with Fullscreen, press F11.
If you are on Mac, maximize the window and then press cmd+shift+F.
If using earphones or small laptop speakers, moving the slider past the 1/4 of the slider will lead to crackling noise.
I am not responsible for any damage done to your speakers/earphones. Please use this extension with care, especially with moving the slider to the red section.

This was a good extension until it started adding pop ups. I thought I had some kind of malware on my computer. I was on a site with a shopping cart and a pop-up appeared to donate to various charities. It did not identify that it was from this extension. I had to inspect the browser code, where I found the extension ID. This is dirty business, especially since they did not mention the pop-up was from them or give me an easy way to opt out. Had they done either, I might have felt differently. Not to mention that they say "no ads" and " no pop-ups" in their store description. Extensions can overwrite your web experience and some of them are going to take advantage of that. Lesson learned. Deleted immediately.
was great until they started putting ads in payment screens, removed from chrome right after that happened
So far I like it. only thing is that depending on the streaming service. It will not let me go full screen with it on. Some do. Some don't. But overall I like it.
Very helpful. I had a little trouble figuring out how to make it appear, but just clicking on the icon did it. It didn't seem to work on a video that my mom sent me, but maybe I just wasn't playing it right. I tried a couple of other extensions to boost the volume, but they distorted things too much. Glad I was able to find one that worked. Use this one.
Works perfectly. No issues on any of the vids I'm watching.
This great extension was recently turned into a seemingly scamware with donation pop-ups showing for online purchases. Beware. I wouldn't be surprised if it's stealing data.
Hey, works greatly, haven't come across any issues yet edit: okay, I realize when I'm watching a video on a website, and I fullscreen it, then unfullscreen it, it minimizes my window, a bit annoying having to always fullscreen my tab
Donation pop up with no option to opt out but to donate.
Donation pop up ads??? That doesn't sound like a volume booster to me.
This extension contains dependency injection via javascript to modify the page content which is outside of the scope of what this extension was designed to do. This potentially violates google's extension dev polices.
