This is one of the most useful extensions for anyone who uses AO3! It makes finding what I want to read so easy, I would be willing to pay money for it. Although, I do have an idea for a new feature: the ability to hide tags on works. Not to filter out works of that particular tag, since that's already a feature, but to make certain tags of your choosing invisible. I could, for example, choose to make the Major Character Death tag invisible to keep the death a surprise. But either way, I rated this extension five stars because it has an intuitive interface, is genuinely helpful, and is 100% worth downloading.
This extension works and it works well. However if you're like me and you're just looking for a replacement for ao3rdr you're not going to like how it changes the formatting on a fic's stats. Even with everything but author, tag and language blacklisting turned off it messes with how the stats are formatted.
Honestly, I loved it. This is literally helping with all of the problems I ever had with Ao3. I really wish this was also useful on mobile since I can't really carry my computer anywhere. Oh also, I recommend making the "... unless this work has one of these tags" to be with each tag you deadlist, since there are tags I absolutely despise, but others I wouldn't really mind if they had other themes going on. If there was a work with a tag I despise, but having that example I made for lighter tags would make the "hide works with these tags" ineffective.
This extension was an eyeopener. Absolutely adore it and use it whenever AO3 is open! Changed my life.
This extension is awesome!
Very helpful extension, but there is one issue, presumably caused by the tracking function, that needs to be fixed: when I go to History, works that I've never seen or accessed would show up (and I don't think this is a case of hacking since it has continued to occur after I changed my password). Many of them come from works shown on user pages that I've visited (their works, bookmarks, etc.), and others even come from simply browsing a tag/search results. This was not an issue before I started using this extension.
WOAH i posted on tumblr about how i wish there was a timer for how long it takes you to read fics and BOY am i so happy to find this. and PURELY by accident!! Whoever created this deserves all the love.
This is a godsend. Are you planning on adding the feature to block based on rating and category? That would make it perfect.
Lots of customizable settings, super easy to use, and makes browsing AO3 so much better... thank you for making this!!!
All around this is incredibly convenient for someone who reads a ton on the site. The only complaint I have is that when going through my history tab with the 'bookmarked' icon showing I get the white screen with 'retry later' a lot. This is a fairly common problem for me but with the extension I can barely go five pages without the site freaking out. Everything else is perfect and it really helps when searching for new fics.
