⚠️* This extension requires the Intrusion Shield Endpoint Windows app and a subscription *

This extension allows users to securely browse websites that are otherwise blocked or inaccessible as determined by Intrusion's threat intelligence. It integrates with a local service (`Intrusion Endpoint`) running on your device, which evaluates website URLs and determines whether they should be opened in an alternative rendering environment.

When you try to visit a site, the extension asks the local Endpoint agent to evaluate the URL against Intrusion’s threat-intelligence feed:

Safe ➜ the site loads normally.

Risky ➜ you are redirected to the Intrusion Renderer, an isolated browsing environment that lets you view the content without exposing your device to threat payloads.

The add-on communicates only to the local Shield Endpoint agent.
