This is highly recommended for those who, like me, maintain subfolders. Sprucemarks automatically sorts out not just the folders, but also the bookmarks within each folder. A superb extension.
Doesn't work with me. Chrome Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit). installed the extension. ticked boxes, no effect. restarted computer, no effect. :_(
This is genius. I have one system for the links and folders that reside in the bookmarks bar seen on top of the browser which is not alphabetized. For all of the rest of my bookmarks I prefer they be added alphabetically which for some strange reason Chrome can't do, go figure. Each time I added a bookmark it required going in to the (now dysfunctional with latest update) Bookmark Manager and alphabetizing, a waste of time. I was actually looking for a new Bookmark Manager when stumbled across this extension. Now I'll not need to even visit the Chrome Bookmark Manager as much as before. Sincere thanks for this most helpful extension.
Very good . Please add an option to sort Bookmarks bar sub folders by url AND A-Z url name if they are multiple url from same site Currently it's like this : a.com - CCC ( title of the page ) a.com - AAA a.com - TTT b.com c.com What is better is a.com - AAA ( title of the page ) a.com - BBB a.com - CCC b.com c.com

Finally I can sort my bookmarks by URL!! I've been waiting for Google to implement such a feature for years, and they haven't, so I'm glad that Sprucemarks exists to pick up the slack!
