MeasureMate the ultimate tool for measuring distances between elements on webpages. It lets you just select the element and then check all the distances to any other element. You can select the whole element or only the content box.
Unlike some other extensions, it will not interfere with any webpage you visit unless you click the MeasureMate icon.
Once installed: Click the icon to activate. Mouse over a document, select the anchor element and move the cursor to any other element.
It's only the beginning. In the future, there would be more lot of helpful stuff.

FINALLY. As a web developer I have tried soooo many tools to help with getting pixel perfect CSS and identifying issues with styling. This is the only tool that actually works flawlessly and does exactly this.. click to activate, click the element you want to measure from, and highlight things around it. The great thing is it also shows padding/margins/etc and looks similar to Figma which helps with keeping measurements accurate and concise. Thank you for making this plugin!! Those of you using Storybook, click the popout icon (open canvas in new tab), works like a charm there.
