DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This used to be a good extension until the author got greedy and started injecting ads under videos, opening random popups asking you for money, and now they want to sell your personal data for a profit. Uninstall this immediately and just use Enhancer for YouTube instead.
Since youtube started auto-downscaling video to save their bandwith, I appreciate that I can actually start videos in 4K instead of having to change the quality from 480p every time. I've been using this for a few months and never had an issue with it.
This extension used to work about half of the time, now it has started opening new windows without user interaction and replacing part of the page with a donation prompt that comes back even if you dismiss it.
It worked fine however autor wants to sell your data i recomend to uninstal this plugin quote from his form "I am writing to ask for your thoughts on a consideration I have been making regarding the extension I have been offering it for free and relying on donations, but I am now considering monetizing it by selling anonymous data to improve it and make it sustainable"
