Great to free up memory and background power/processor usages. Highly recommended.
Generally works well but OS crashed and upon restoring tabs in Chrome, Tab Suspender had my CPU spiked for days before I realized what was causing it. I Force Quit Chrome and restored tabs a number of times and suspender spiked CPU each time and wouldn't stop. When looking at suspended tabs, it was like they were in a loop--constantly re-suspending themselves. This was somewhat confirmed by looking at the Extension details which showed the list constantly changing. I have no idea what caused it to freak out but I had to turn the extension off to get the CPU to calm down.
Ein muss für das tabbed Browsing. Und schaut lieber mal in die Einstellungen - statt schlechte Bewertungen wegen eigener Unfähigkeit zu geben. Das Tool ist gut anpassbar und es kommen öfter mal neue Funktionen dazu.
Works Great. I've been using it for over 2 years. Love it.
In my case, it's don't work at all. RAM consumption remains the same even if all tabs are suspended.

genau das habe ich lange gesucht. über CHIP.de komme ich hier. Besten Dank für diese nützliche Erweiterung, es macht mir meine Arbeit viel leicher.
This is INSANE! I've been waiting for 35 mins now and my tabs are STILL not loaded, for some reason it keeps reloading them over and over or that's what it seems to be doing. The great suspender could open up my tabs in literally less than 30 seconds when I had 4 different windows up with 50+ tabs in each of them. On top of that, I've already lost tabs to power cuts and this extension for some reason after a session restore deleted them even tho I disabled any option in the options page to remove suspended tabs beforehand. Seriously, it feels like somebody made an extension and tested it with only 1 tab open. I am considering removing this and using my resources until we have a better alternative to the great suspender. This extension as it is the opposite definition of working smart not hard.
