Could have been great, but had to get rid of it as there was no was to disable it's terrible shopping suggestions feature. Almost as bad as the pop up ads I was hoping to block. Fortunately Adguard exists on it own. Do yourself a favour and get that instead

Warnt einen des öfteren vor schäbigen Websites und blockiert sie, verbraucht nur extrem viel Resourcen sehr bei vielen Tabs, wodurch man das Addon ab und an neustarten sollte [wenn man viele Tabs öffnet]. Es gibt noch einen nervigen Preisvergleich den man durch ein verstecktes Zahnrad ausstellen kann [Linksklick aufs Addon oben in der Symbolleiste, dann das Zahnrad oben].
I believe this app has started pushing pop up advertising with no way to disable. It's incredibly annoying and the extension will be disabled until this is removed.
War mal gut ... bis plötzlich unaufgefordert SPAM gestartet wurde, und zwar Preisvergleich und Links zu den Shops. Nun habe ich also einen Werbeblocker, der plötzlich eigene Werbung zeigt. WAS SOLL DAS?!
I was attracted to this Extension (Avira Browser Safety) via my use Avira Antivirus Pro (paid Software) for all my business computers. I installed it in the beginning of the year and used it along with uBlock Origin. Avira Browser Safety seemed to work well until some weeks ago. Found out, as also other users mention, that Avira Browser Safety posts "Better price available" adds with a shopping cart icon. It took me some time to realize that this ad came from Avira Browser Safety. I found no way on Avira Browser Safety to opt out from this unwanted advertising. The policy of Avira to have its Browser Safety Extension to pop up own adds is not acceptable to me. Avira Browser Safety since some weeks also slows down Google search and browser experience. Therefore just uninstalled the Extension to continue uBlock Origin. As Avira Browser Safety seems to rely on AdGuard, it would anyway be a better option to use AdGuard Extension directly (no display of "better price" adds and no slowing down of the browser).
War ein super Add On - ich war äußerst zufrieden! Aber neuerdings wird einem ätzende Werbung in Form von Preisvergleichen angezeigt, ich hab keine Ahnung wo man das aus schalten kann bzw ob man das überhaupt kann und finde das hat in einem Security Add On einfach nichts verloren!
While this is a decent ad blocker, it actually displays its own adds over various websites. It shows a shopping cart icon and the text "Better price available at these sellers" when searching for products on google or amazon. I saw no way of disabling this feature, and AVIRA makes no mention of it anywhere on the product page which I find very deceitful. I had to use Chrome's developer tools to figure out where the add was even coming from. I will be removing the extension immediately after I post this review.
Ich war lange damit zufrieden, aber seit neustem wird mir einfach ungefragt Werbung (Preisvergleich) auf Shopping-Webseiten angezeigt. Es gibt auch keine Einstellungen mehr, in denen man dies deaktivieren könnte. Damit ist diese Erweiterung für mich nerviger als sie mir nutzt und muss leider wieder deinstalliert werden. Schade
