React Developer Tools is a Chrome DevTools extension for the open-source React JavaScript library. It allows you to inspect the React component hierarchies in the Chrome Developer Tools.

You will get two new tabs in your Chrome DevTools: "Components ⚛" and "Profiler ⚛".

The Components tab shows you the root React components that were rendered on the page, as well as the subcomponents that they ended up rendering.

By selecting one of the components in the tree, you can inspect and edit its current props and state in the panel on the right. In the breadcrumbs you can inspect the selected component, the component that created it, the component that created that one, and so on.

If you inspect a React element on the page using the regular Elements tab, then switch over to the React tab, that element will be automatically selected in the React tree.

The Profiler tab allows you to record performance information.

Nice tool, but very unintuitive to figure out the first time. After you've downloaded the extension and you click on it, it brings you right back here instead of opening the dev tools and placing you on the react tab. I am seeing a lot of comments about not launching even after allow access to file urls had been enabled. It took me a while but this is what I figured out. Instead of clicking on the extension, open up your normal dev tools (command + option + i ) and look at the tabs you normally see i.e. elements, console, sources. If you look all the way to the right you should see a new tab called react. That's where you can try out those tools. Maybe I should go into UX/UI? P.S. Also note that when inspecting other sites that don't use react, the react tab disappears, but its not gone, it just shows up again when you view a page that does use react.

Installed this plugin so react.js would stop harping about it in the console.

其实对react的内部错误还是没什么帮助,react的debug真的很烦,错误提示经常讲不到点

So far it won't open, no documentation for this to launch. If I click on the button, it opens to this developer tools. How the hell does this thing work???

I wish there was a way to limit what URLs it works on.
