React Developer Tools is a Chrome DevTools extension for the open-source React JavaScript library. It allows you to inspect the React component hierarchies in the Chrome Developer Tools.
You will get two new tabs in your Chrome DevTools: "Components ⚛" and "Profiler ⚛".
The Components tab shows you the root React components that were rendered on the page, as well as the subcomponents that they ended up rendering.
By selecting one of the components in the tree, you can inspect and edit its current props and state in the panel on the right. In the breadcrumbs you can inspect the selected component, the component that created it, the component that created that one, and so on.
If you inspect a React element on the page using the regular Elements tab, then switch over to the React tab, that element will be automatically selected in the React tree.
The Profiler tab allows you to record performance information.

I feel like it would be good, but I've had this for months and it is still not working. I've tried pretty much everything that I can find to help and nothing seems to work.
react button not showing up...
Super useful
Very useful when it works, but annoyingly corrupts itself every time Chrome is restarted.

Just make sure that "React" is exposed as a global variable before using this extension. :)
You need to be on a webpage USING REACT before the TAB APPEARS.
Does not work. Not only does it not show a tab when I'm on a page with React but it also "corrupts" every time I restart Chrome.
That tab is not showing up on any of my react projects. And it doesn't work on my react-based chrome extensions either. On the very few react sites out there where the tab does show up, it just says "waiting for roots to load..." and no matter what I do I cannot get it to trigger.
