Hello Team Twemoji, please fix this extension! It slows down YouTube.
Soooo good! Chrome on my old Windows 7 computer can now show emojis after installing this!
With this extension, Chrome freezes any time I try to use an emoji of any kind. So I had to disable this extension.
If you have a blank line at the end of the exception list, the entire extension stops working. Delete the line to fix it. Edit: Please consider using the updated twemoji from JoeBlakeB on github It works pretty well. I just wish twemoji would work everywhere and be compatible with every browser. It's annoying that we don't have universal emojis. Anyway, this extension lets me see the much better twemojis in Chrome on windows 10. I noticed, however, that in Google Sheets, if a unicode symbol has an emoji equivalent, it will be replaced with an emoji, but when done editing the cell, the emoji will be deleted. I just added Google Docs to the exception list.

Used to work great but it's now breaking YouTube. Once this gets fixed I'll be happy to reenable it but until then, it has to stay off.

I finally figured out this was the reason my YouTube experience had gone down the drain. Most videos would take 20+ seconds to load after clicking, then would reload again 20 seconds into the video.
