Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.

Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.

Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.

* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption

While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).

* Audit Pass’s open-source code

Good password manager. BUT I am proton ecosystem user, I like the apps and the security offered. However, proton pass browser extension I found a big hole in the login. After login, you can set a pin, as a fast way to login during you session. The problem comes when you finish your sesison, closing the browser or shutting off the computer, because in the next seession (after a break or next day), the app allow you to login again ONLY WITH THE PIN. Not enought if you think about that between all your passwords and someone else, there is only a 6 digit pincode. That is oposite I am looking for when I use a password manager. After every sesion the app should ask you again for your full password, not only the pin, so if someone access to my computer, will find a strong wall to break in the app. I have been 1Password user for a while, a great password manager, but decided move to proton because the unlimited pack fits better for my demans. In 1password you can find a very usefull option, something like: "ask for the pasword after: closing app or X-hours" A great option you can add to proton, since if you forgot logout manually, you are sure the app will ask you for the full pasword angain depending how you setted up. In other hand you can continuous using only the pincode, but give us the option at least. You, proton guys, could take a note and add that freature in an update. Will be great for some of us. Thanks for the good job Best

Everything you need is a password manager. I have used other software before, but this is by far the best. Extremely user friendly across all devices
