Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.

Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.

Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.

* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption

While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).

* Audit Pass’s open-source code

when using proton at the phone it works, good, but on the pc it does not, it does not detect automatically the user or password boxes. Furthermore when you create a login, it creates login and aliases automatically what makes it confuse

Proton Pass along with Proton Mail and Proton VPN are the undisputed leader in security, ease of use, cross platform support (I use iPhone, Windows, Mac, Fedora, and Debian Linux). It just works. If we can just get Proton Drive Desktop developed for Linux, I would be an even bigger fan, but I can use the web interface until then.

This is the most user friendly password manager out there. I love the auto-fill for 2FA. Works great and makes login-in friction less. Also, the support of Passkeys is great!

I was previously using LastPass, but when I switched to Proton for its additional services, it made sense to use Proton Pass as well. Importing my LastPass passwords into Proton Pass couldn't have been easier and it's worked flawlessly since.
