I would say its very good as of now there are still some features that would make it better but they are also improving and adding things all the time. Sometimes the integration isn't the best as well, but when you compare a smaller company like proton to google as a password manager its not really a fair comparison. TLDR It does what it sets out to do but not perfectly.
Does what it says it will do. I recommend it.
Found Proton suite through one of my favourite youtubers, LordDraugr, and loved it instantly! Though I can't afford their subscription at the moment (and you don't really need it, you can use this for free), I really would pay for it. It's the safest, most practical alternative out there.

Everything I wanted and needed in a password manager, plus more.
Top Passwortmanager. Macht genau das was ich erwarte, ob am PC, auf dem Tablet oder am Handy. Habe den PM auf diversen PC und mit diversen Browser als Erweiterung installiert, läuft bei allen bestens und ist sehr einfach zu bedienen und einzustellen. Ganz grosse Klasse, verglichen mit anderen PM's.
Me flipa toda la suite de Proton. Muy recomendado si te interesa la privacidad.
A password managed I can trust with built in TOTP, was exactly what I needed in my life!
The entire Proton suite is exceptional, back to front & in between. UIs are rational & modern, features & interfaces to such are complete, clear, not prone to failure (can't remember even a single exception worth mentioning). Prices are not exorbitant. Love it.
