Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.

Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.

Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.

* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption

While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).

* Audit Pass’s open-source code

Switched from a regular Password Manager to Proton Pass after much consideration. The choice of switching from a regular PM was a difficult one, though the rapid development of Proton pass from the time of launch was quite fast. The features kept on adding regularly and thus I finally made a choice to switch to Proton Pass. Since the Proton values and principles have never changed ever since Proton mail was introduced, I had confidence to entrust my passwords with Proton. There are several improvements to ensure Pass can work better. When a password is changed in the Proton Pass mobile app, the changes should reflect immediately in the Proton Pass web app and vice versa. Instead, the user needs to click 'Manually Sync Your Data' under Settings>Advanced. Usually, this is not the case with other PM; the changes made on one device get automatically applied across devices.

Fantastic tool but my favorite is the Alias tool which creates a different email address for each website. It reduces your risk if one site gets breached and that email and password are disclosed since that is a unique email address that cant be associated with your primary email address.

Proton is the Pro. Wouldn't want anything more. I feel comforted knowing that all my information is safe. Yes, even on a web-based service. Proton makes it easy and quick with responses. I had a Stalker Hacker for 7 months. He got to me via my cellular provider. Proton was the ONLY service not effected. Amazing! Thank You Proton Team! Worth every cent.

It is a pretty good tool from a company that I trust. Only two things are really missing: 1. The ability to merge duplicate entries. 2. Robustness - it seems that I have to remove and reinstall the extension about every 6 weeks.
