Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.

Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.

Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.

* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption

While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).

* Audit Pass’s open-source code

Pretty good password manager, it's a bit behind on Lastpass and Bitwarden (the other two I know and used). But the minimums are present and work pretty good. Just too bad that sometimes I can't autofill, there's also no easy way to achieve that manually other than copy/paste. And the "Hide my email" functionality sometimes doesn't trigger, because it gives the account name priority, but that might be an issue with websiters not properly defining input fields.

I could not be more disappointed with this app. I have permanently lost access to three accounts due to the desktop app losing data. I used the alias email addresses and generated passwords, trusting the app to retain the information. It didn't. Even now, trying to get it to work again, is proving impossible.

Proton Pass to naprawdę 5/5 w świecie zarządzania hasłami.

i bought the "premium" version...absolute trash! Good luck trying to get this crapola to fill an "alias" (supposedly unlimited number available with "premium" version) when signing up on a new website. After the first 3 or 4, it works Maybe One Time in 10. When I open a site to sign in to an existing account with this so-called password manager, their Big, Ugly. Dark popup usually covers all or most of the log-in area. It has none of the standard functions that other password managers provide. There are FREE apps that do what this claims on a P.C. browser, and at least the ones I have tried actually WORK Every Time.

It's too basic, even for their current promotion of $1/month. It's missing dozens of features that more fully-fledged password managers have. It's actually kind of nuts they would even think to try and charge $5 a month for this outside of a discount campaign. At the very least: 1. Must have the option to store your passwords outside of your normal Proton account 2. MFA support such as Yubikey 3. Report of data breaches 4. Change the theme to match browser 5. Share passwords with select persons (eg. family members) 6. Reminder to change outdated passwords 7. Warning about duplicate and unsecure passwords 8. Better form detection 9. More types of custom data fields 10. A proper native desktop app that isn't a browser extension It's missing a lot to warrant them asking for money. There's also the fact that my current provider Bitwarden is open-source and has never, ever been implicated in a data breach. Proton Pass is fresh off the grill and likely needs a few years of improvements and evidence to be trustworthy.
