I respect Proton and what they do, however this app is useless, it truly is. Whenever I sign up at a website, I try the "use secure password" option, and it works. The problem is, the app never asks you to save it to the vault. That means you have to hit "forgot password" link wherever you're signing up every single time. I'm tired of it.
Amazing password manager from amazing company
Excellente application.
Go Proton Go ! Faut mettre le paquet maintenant qu'on a l'eau à la bouche :)
It's good and has a great price. It works great on both the browser (although an edge-release would be nice), and my Android phone. I've previously used 1pass (bit too expensive) and Microsoft password, but that doesn't have 2FA. When I saw the 80% LIFETIME discount and that it was developed by the ProtonVPN team, I knew I had to give it a try. The interface is slick and modern, and the Android app has a light mode. I have been told the extension is also getting one, but it's not here yet. I have had some slight problems with the popover, where it was hidden behind some buttons. I don't have an example. It is rather annoying that the 2FA code isn't autofilled, or copied into your clipboard when the password gets filled. It does copy to clipboard on the Android app. Overall, Proton Pass is a solid password manager with excellent potential. It's affordable, well-designed, and backed by the ProtonVPN team's reputation. Despite a few minor issues, it's worth trying out, especially with the 80% LIFETIME discount offer.
Unable to sign in to Proton Pass.
Necesita mejorar en algunas cosas como localización en otros idiomas, passkeys o compatibilidad con safari/Mac, pero pinta muy bien.
Chrome App - the right side dropdown is always covered, thus blocking the ability to save a new password, or update one I dont want to save on another platform... They have lots of work to do, right now I want the app to be a 5 star product like the rest of their products. However, this is the worst. Never stays open, the save button is always covered, password generator is uber sensitive on a click to hover off basis.
Better than Bitwarden, and 1Password. They are constantly making great strides with this product and it has now become my de facto password manager.
This product worked great, but I do still have some issues. - When changing passwords on sites like Google, Pass will gladly generate a new password but not save it automatically. That can lead to a lot of problems if you are not paying attention and change the saved password manually. - You can't open pass with pin directly from password and email fields. You have to open the extension menu to unlock pass, and then move back to the fields and have it login for you - No TouchID support (OSX) Fun little thing, when you copy the 2fa code from Pass into the proton.me login field it doesn't work
