My Proton Pass is part of the Ultimate package. As a self-employed systems administrator serving small businesses for over four decades, I have tested a plethora of password managers. All have fallen short, and some failed miserably. Proton Pass however, checks all the boxes plus many more I didn't know should be included. The fact that Proton Pass is an essential part of the Proton Suite, built solely on the premise of privacy is the frosting on the cake. IMHO, Proton Pass is undoubtedly the BEST web-based, multi-platform password manager available! Proton AG "ROCKS!"
Convenient, safe, and organized!
I've used most other password managers in the past and I find Proton Pass to be the best one. Open source with premium feature offerings along with better data storage location and policies. Cannot recommend it enough!

just awesome...feels very reliable
I recently moved from 1Password to Proton Pass, mainly because of the native desktop app. A lot of good-looking, feature-heavy password managers only offer browser extensions, which feels limiting. Proton, like 1Password, has a proper Windows app—and that makes a real difference in day-to-day use. It just feels more complete and accessible. On the security side, I’m pretty comfortable with what they’ve built. The protection model is strong but makes sense—it's not complicated for the sake of it. From personal experience exploring vulnerabilities in other password managers (especially through leaked data and weak secondary passwords), I know how gaps can show up. Proton is noticeably harder to crack, especially with the optional third password layer. That extra control adds serious depth. As for their overall security architecture, it’s already well-known and trusted, so there’s not much to question there. Feature-wise, it covers all the essentials, stays lightweight, and doesn’t feel bloated. As a premium user, I’d say it’s worth the price. It strikes a good balance between usability and real security.
