Changes fullscreen buttons so they will put a window around the fullscreen app. This allows you to put a Youtube video about a subject next to the paper you are writing or watch a show on Netflix while chatting. This extension will not reload the video you are watching, nor use some custom controls: it puts the website in its own fullscreen mode. Now also supports Picture-in-Picture mode when fullscreening a video, but this takes away the websites video controls.

This extension requires "Read sites data" permission to function, but you can right-click the extension icon, click "This Can Read and Change Site Data" and enable it only for websites that you are comfortable with. Also the source is open, so you can read that no data is actually read or changed by this extension :)

It will present you with a small menu when you click fullscreen, so you can choose to go fullscreen or windowed.

Honestly an amazing extension if you use cloud gaming websites (Stadia and Geforce Now as an example) Both forces games into a fullscreen you can't change, unless you got this extension and use window mode, it just makes what ya want, a resizable window witch allows you to do other stuff while playing :3
works flawlessly for the past years but now PIP doesn't work on windows 11
Amazing! It works great when you want to have a split on your computer screen. I like having the function of 2 fullscreens on the Mac, and this basically gives that on Windows :)

good. but I suggest, you also put the navigation slider aside from the pause button. so that I can navigate on different video time.
Works great! I wish I could have it automatically apply the options per website, however, so that a site like YouTube for example would open every video in my desired option right from the start. Honestly, there isn't much reason to not have windowed fullscreen as default as you can still scroll down and have full access.
