Unfortunately this app really slows down my browsing. I love the idea, but it takes 20+ seconds longer to load my Tab for a Cause homescreen and then go to the needed page, instead of just going straight to the page I need. This doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up, and when I'm researching for an academic paper it really throws a wrench into my process as I often work as I think (which is quite fast).
The extension displays an ad on your new tab page. The money they make from showing you this ad is donated to a charity of your choice. If you don't mind seeing the ad, this is a great extension.

The new tab page doesn't really matter, so the ads don't change your experience much. The only annoying part is the notifications (I get that I open tabs sometimes, I don't need to be told that I do it)
I use this with Goodblock (the profitable ad blocker) and it makes browsing so nice. I love knowing that I can make an impact on someone's life just by doing what I normally do. :)
I've had a good run with Tab for a Cause, but recently, the ads that are on its page have given my computer malware, and I don't want to risk further harming my computer. I hope that you all aren't experiencing the same problems as I am. Happy tabbing!
I absolutely the idea. However, there's no option that i could see for aspca or any animal group. To be honest, the options are a bit sparse, considering how many charities are out there. With that said, im going to keep it and save my hearts until i either decide to donate to one of the few charities that are listed, of until a animal charity is added. If a animal charity (any one, i'm not picky) is added, i'll update my review to five stars.

The page stops loading for me now every time I open a new tab. It used to work fine loading the page when a new tab was opened, I'm not sure what's causing the problem. I tried disabling other extensions in case it conflicted with something else, but to no avail.
