Schlecht! Ich hatte vor, AdBlock Premium auf einem älteren System zu aktivieren. Das Kaufen, und die 3,50 € zu bezahlen war möglich. Jedoch Premium zu aktivieren nicht, weil dann - oh wunder, erst nach der Zahlung! - die Erweiterung festgestellt hatte, dass mein Chrome nicht kompatible ist. Also musste ich nur 1 Minute nach der Zahlung das Abo kündigen. Die 3,50 € bekomme ich natürlich nicht zurück. Schlecht, sehr schlecht!

It exists to stop ads from popping up and ruining your browser history, but it also uses pop ups itself to advertise its premium service and also gives you banners saying "Hey, want to get rid of banners? Buy premium" The people developing this app doesn't even know what the purpose of the app is... they just want your money. Do yourself a favour and get a different ad blocker!

uninstalling because it would hijack my browser and force me onto the tab even if i'm doing something else entirely on a different application. for example if i'm on discord or spotify it'll switch my window onto google to advertize it's premium service and it got to the point where this extension is unusable. use any other ad blocker

I've been using this for a few years. Worked great. Every once in a while it would ask for support (which I did), but now it's basically "ad ware". It hijacks the browser almost every few days asking for a premium subscription. There is also something going on with ad blocking - more and more sites are loading with ads. Not sure if the blocking code is loosing the "arms race", or the sites can pay to get exempted from blocking. In either case, I would not recommend AdBlock at this point. Look for something better...

I have had this extension for years and it's been stellar. About once every six months or so it would ask me about support but that was no big deal. But in the past few months, it's begun hijacking everything I am working on to tell me how many ads it's blocked for me. Like it opens a new tab and halts everything in other tabs. And it is happening regularly. I am usually signed in to a couple of different profiles as I have work for several clients - so this morning it has hijacked my work flow four times already and I'm just waiting for the next one.

It does what it's supposed to, but it's really annoying. I am tired of being on important work video calls and suddenly it opens a new tab over my video call to say "We blocked 1234 ads for you! Please pay us!" Please find a less invasive way to harass me for money. Don't offer a free app if you don't want people to use your free app for free. Extensions should not be allowed to open entirely new tabs whenever they feel like. Somehow this ad blocker is more invasive than regular ads. Would not recommend.
