Does not work anymore. it worked 12 hours ago for me. (I am in the U.K) There is absolutely no point in using chrome without adblock, its no faster than anyone other and as youtube now makes me watch mind numbing BS adverts for products I neither want nor need there is no benefit... I'm now using brave browser as it actually blocks adverts! I'll check back in a few weeks and see if it works. its a shame because chrome is usually my go to browser.

The ad blocker becomes an ad pop-upper, constantly new tabs. Theyself become a nuissance. The address also worries me, no longer a german entity, but now based in Houston, Texas? On Gmaps it is a storage building (address from privacy policy page). According to wikipedia it was bought by Eyeo in 2021. Who knows that it was leeched in favour of adblockplus. Although according to https://eyeo.com/solutions/users they provide both solutions still. I don't know, this is how far my OSINT goes ;^). Does somebody else perhaps know?
doesnt block ads anymore #thisaintgangsta BUT it did work b4 i updated chrome a bit ago so its probably that update
Gente, la extension por el momento funciona. Intenten desinstalar y volver a instalarla, yo hice eso y funciona como antes en la mayoria de sitios.

Latest version in latest version of Chrome makes Chrome unusable. After recent restart of Chrome, thought maybe it was just a Chrome version issue, so checked and updated to the latest version (128.0.6613.120). Still no joy. Noticed in Task Manager that the AdBlock extension (gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom) was consuming insane (maximum >>100%) CPU. This was causing Chrome to be completely unusable - for example, a single click taking about 30 seconds to respond. After going to my extensions page, and disabling AdBlock, the browser became immediately responsive and usable again.
Since a chrome update, the adblock app is not working - I am getting many ads on Youtube and on websites. Earlier, it was superb. I am on Mac
