Consent Mode Monitor is a Consent Mode V2 monitor and GTM consent management checker that helps you spot broken consent setups fast.
Consent Mode Monitor analyses your GTM configuration and highlights tags with missing or incorrect consent. It parses the site, does not require GTM permissions, and does not change your GTM setup.
Using the Chrome extension means you can check sites faster, directly on the page, and you are less likely to be blocked by Cloudflare or similar WAF systems. You can also get a full audit report.

I do a lot of work with Google Tag Manager and cookie compliance and this tool saves me a ton of time. One click and it shows me which tags are missing consent categories like ad_storage, and compares default versus updated states. No need to dig through GTM containers. The privacy setup is solid too, only runs when I click scan.
