Compress audio to make sound volumes more even
Unleash the Power of Personalized Audio in Chrome
A simple Youtube extension that compresses video audio sound levels
Limit the maximum decibel level in a browser tab
This is the nightly testing build of FrankerFaceZ. FrankerFaceZ is an enhancement suite for Twitch.
This extension monofies the currently playing video or audio source with a single click on the extension button.
As someone who suffers from tinnitus / hyperacusis (noise sensitivity), this extension is a life saver :0, I'm able to listen to youtube/twitch without the fear of sudden loud noises :) Whoever made this is a legend
It works really well, but I wish it was easy to see if it was on or not, I really can't tell.
it totally disables the audio , not usable
So as far as compressing the volume on a youtube video this app 100% works great. I've been watching a lets play series on youtube and the streamer had his mic volume so high but the game volume so low so I'd have to turn the volume up so high to hear the game but then every time he spoke it sounded insanely loud. This app brought the streamers voice and the game volume in the video all to the same level with a simple click and I no longer have to constantly play with the volume anymore. I've tried another compressor but I don't understand how the settings work (attack, ratio, boost, etc.) and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work right. This just works with a simple click. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I literally just downloaded and started using the extension so I don't know if it will hold up as far as other videos or remember to stay on etc. but if alls well in a few days I'm definitely coming back to change my rating to 5 stars. Thanks so much to the developer and I really hope you continue to develop/ optimize the app and make it even better. Maybe some simple customization features that people who are unknowledgeable about audio compressors can understand or something. Either way it's perfect for my current use case and does exactly what it says.
То что нужно, спасибо!
Works well, just what I needed, only thing is I wish it remembered the setting for the page, but not a big deal to press a button, thanks
cant find video aka doesnt work
I listen to a podcast where the guest speaks three times quieter than the host. This compressor fixed the problem perfectly
unfortunately it doesnt work. I reloaded the page about 20 times , and pressed "PLAY", but every time the app says "we couldn't find your video. Please make sure it is playing or refresh the page and try again." UPD : my Chrome crashed after I clicked on this ext.
Does what it says, but you need to manually press a button to enable it. Would like an option to automatically enable it
