brilliant app.
This extension is very helpful to me, but like everything else in life, it's certainly not "perfect." To "Lyden Yardley" and any others who aren't quite sure how to save PDF files and/or webpages/browser tab screenshots to Google Drive, there is an implementation for that kind of thing and it's built into the Chrome browser itself, actually!! You don't even have to have this extension installed/enabled for this to work! =) This extension has nothing to do with saving PDF files and/or webpages/screenshots to Google Drive, but what you can do is the following: 1.) If you have an actual PDF pulled up in a browser tab and you want to save it to your Drive account, just go to the top right of the Chrome browser window and click the little 3 horizontal bars, then click "Print...", on the "Print..." popup dialog that appears, click the button labeled "Change." 2.) On the next screen, at the bottom of the newly popped-up window, you want to look at the bottom for the sub-heading titled "Google Cloud Print".. 3.) ...under the "Google Cloud Print" sub-heading, you SHOULD see a little folder icon and to its right you should see "Save to Google Drive." *** DON'T CLICK "Save to Google Drive" JUST QUITE YET! There's ONE MORE QUICK STEP BELOW, THENNN YOU CAN CLICK "Save to Google Drive." *** 4.) Before pressing "Save to Google Drive," you should most definitely verify that you are in fact saving it to the proper Google Drive account by simply looking at the top right-hand side of this popup for some text labeled as "Showing destinations for." There should be a drop-down box to the right of this label where you can simply choose from the drop-down list of the correct Google Drive account that you're wanting to save the file/page to. 5.) After verifying the proper account, you can go ahead and click "Save to Google Drive." ------ I hope this helps a lot of people out!! ------
Очень удобно для закачки торрентов!
Screenshots and pdf require additional extensions. I use Save to Google Drive all the time!
Awesome! I love it! It would be awesome to add some other cool features to this extension. However, I can't think of any at the moment.
Does not save PDFs. Cannot select format / location to save.
Does not work
I don't want to capture the whole content to Google Drive, but just save it as a bookmark/shortcut to Google drive, like what IE support me to do. Organize files and bookmark together in the drive can help user unify their systems into one and improve classification. Don't just force user to work in a traditional Netscape/Firefox bookmark approach and only allow to use Chrome Bookmark or Google Bookmark.
