Docs Online Viewer introduces a convenient way to view documents on the web.
It uses third party online services like Google docs API (or other services when available) to open links with extension PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, PPT, RTF, ODT, ODS, ODP, CSV and many more file formats online in the browser itself without need for any third party software installed on your computer.
This extension reduces the need for additional software required to open documents such as Acrobat reader plugin, Microsoft Office and so on. This is less resource intensive compared to using external software/plugins which are a bloat on your system and may cause browser / system crashes. It also reduces the risk of downloading malicious documents.
Docs Online Viewer is lightweight and tightly packed so that it does not slow down your browser.
If there are any bugs or if there are any missing features, please report in the "SUPPORT" section. I will try fixing them.

Love it!!! A favorite restaurant loves to use Microsoft Office. These free viewers used to be easy to get, but not any more. Download Docs Online Viewer and it's a snap!! I no longer have to sign up for a bunch of stuff I don't want. I see the Docs Viewer symbol by my document, and up pops my document!! No hassle!! Love this!
Great app, very usefull to students

Simply the best! Was looking for an extension that lets me open document files without downloading them, and I didn't want to install Mozilla just for that. This extension is the answer! Using Google Docs is a smart idea. I hate how this extension is underrated. So much better than the Lumin one which is a disaster. Thank you so much for this! Only con is that it doesn't open files in private websites. Other than that, 5 stars!
Открывает только при нажитии на иконку. Во вконтакте, например, иконка к документам не отображается и просмотреть файл не получается.
Still incapable of previewing "FDA Form 3500" (as Google searched) in Chrome, from FDA site, which was supposedly created with another ADOBE product, LiveCycle. Adobe supposedly denies responsibility to resolve this as reported via Google Chrome Support (NOT Forum). Only Xodo PDF Viewer & Editor seems to be able to do this.
