Docs Online Viewer introduces a convenient way to view documents on the web.
It uses third party online services like Google docs API (or other services when available) to open links with extension PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, PPT, RTF, ODT, ODS, ODP, CSV and many more file formats online in the browser itself without need for any third party software installed on your computer.
This extension reduces the need for additional software required to open documents such as Acrobat reader plugin, Microsoft Office and so on. This is less resource intensive compared to using external software/plugins which are a bloat on your system and may cause browser / system crashes. It also reduces the risk of downloading malicious documents.
Docs Online Viewer is lightweight and tightly packed so that it does not slow down your browser.
If there are any bugs or if there are any missing features, please report in the "SUPPORT" section. I will try fixing them.

muchas veces necesitas revisar documentos en formato XLSX desde un ordenador que no tiene EXCELL instado y genialidades como esta extensión te ahorran tiempo y hacen mas fácil tu trabajo. muy satisfecho. 10 PUNTOS.
Good but OpenDocument formats don't work, they need a fix.

Hace justo lo que buscaba: evita tener que descargar los documentos y permite leer cada uno en una pestaña distinta del navegador. Muy útil. Muchísimas gracias al desarrollador.
seems simple quick and unobtrusive and provides an easy option to view file links without the cumbersome process of downloading and opening, whilst still allowing you to do that when you want. Doesn't seem to remember options (for example 'open in new tab' option, after saving, close and reopen options it's unticked again). Sometimes doesn't use the best online viewer, csv and pdf for example are opened as google docs, I would prefer sheets and built-in pdf viewer instead.

I like it but there is a tiny problem that is not all PDF are oppened by the extention
Bueno
Experienced the same problem as many others (re-downloading instead of opening file). Uninstalled extension and re-installed it and it worked. Must've had an old version. v128.2226.2237 working on Chrome 71.0.3578.98 + Ubuntu 18.04 + Gnome 3.28.
