You're busy. OneNote Web Clipper lets you quickly clip all or part of a web page into OneNote and save it for later. Clip images, PDFs, videos or a visual bookmark of a page. Best of all, you can access them from any computer, tablet or phone – even when you're offline.
CLIPPING, YOUR WAY
– NO CLUTTER! Articles, recipes or products can be clipped without all of the adverts, navigation buttons and noise.
– Highlight text, adjust the fonts or add a note before you clip.
– Clip the whole page or several selections on the page. It's up to you.

Windows Snipping tool is much better. Also, this extension is nothing like Evernote Web Clipper. I don't really see the difference between a Screenshot and OneNote Clipper, other than it's syncing to OneNote.
Why call it a clipper? It only copies web pages.
(Original rating was 2 stars; now I've increased it to 3. See update at end.) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was ready to dump Evernote Premium. I was already in love with One Note's ability to create separate notebooks, one for work, one for home -- something Evernote requires separate accounts to achieve. I had installed the One Note Android App. I discovered the coolness of sub-pages, solving one of the few but enduring shortcomings of Evernote. The final piece in the puzzle was the web clipper for Chrome. I was finally going to make the move to One Note! . . . Until I started clipping pages, and discovered that the Clipper doesn't really "clip" at all. It copies the entire page. It's impossible to select only a portion of the text, or an image, on a page before executing the clip. Likewise, once the clipping is inserted into a One Note page, it's impossible to select or edit any text. It's impossible to strip out extraneous stuff, such as ads and other doo-dads. Reading clipped pages on a hand-held device is like trying to read a billboard through a keyhole. For years, Internet Explorer's "send to One Note" function has exported pages as formatted text, which can be selected and edited, making it easier to copy/paste text from multiple clips into new pages -- which is a big reason why anyone would want to clip pages in the first place. It's baffling that the shiny new Web Clipper for Chrome wouldn't also function this way. I can't fathom what the developers must have been thinking. UPDATE: The clipper has been improved in a major way, providing the opportunity to select a specific region of a page to clip, and including an OneNote version of Evernote's "Simplified article," which strips away ads and other page clutter. I haven't tried out these features much yet, but OneNote deserves a third star just for adding these features, and a fourth if they work well.
Absolutely useless compared with Evernote's webclipper. Sort your act out, Microsoft. Most important omission is being unable to make selections of content and send it to onenote, transferring HTML & its CSS styling. Instead, OneNote just takes a gigantic screenshot.
Was working fine until the update, it automatically disabled itself. Once I enabled it again it no longer clips any pages, just kind of lingers there and serves no purpose. Might have to switch to evernote if this isn't fixed.
Good clipper but I'll use it a lot more if would be possible to tag o choose the page and section of the clip. Just as the Ipad Safar extension.
Disappointed. can only clip whole page as image only into default notebook. Most time it says "Failed to save, reload the page and try again". Asks to login very often. I will stick to Evernote clipper until MS fix and improve this crap.
