The instructions about how to install the native host connector on Ubuntu (or, in my case Debian) doesn't work (apt says there is no Packages file), so for me, this is pretty much useless One would think that this native connector should be included among the core GNOME packages...

fine, but there is no simple way how install native connector in UBUNTU GNOME ? PPA repository ? EDIT 2017/03/11 Now this problem is solved, there is ppa:ne0sight/chrome-gnome-shell ... simply add this repository and install package chrome-gnome-shell works like a charm
Убунту 15.10 - не работает.В фаерфоксе всё отлично.Странно. П.С. Нужно дополнительно установить нативный коннектер.
