Wappalyzer is more than a CMS detector or framework detector: it uncovers more than a thousand technologies in dozens of categories such as programming languages, analytics, marketing tools, payment processors, CRM, CDN and others. Use the export button to save results to CSV. The extension has a toggle for light and dark mode.

I wish I'd known this existed sooner!
Nice tool, nice layout and design. But....This app should not be on all the time. It messes with mailchimp, it messes with Elementor/Wordpress, it messes with tons of sites and slows down or causes sites not to load. It should be like Builtwith, where you can click the app to see. Or like Google Tag Manager Assistant, where it doesn't load UNLESS you click it. This issue has made me uninstall it many times.
Indispensabile e veramente utile, grazie Indispensable and really useful, thank you
Приемлемая альтернатива WhutRuns, ставлю 4 из 5, поскольку изначальный замах на подписочную модель напрягает и настораживает.
Nothing else compares and I've tried many different tech stack scanners using both website lookup tools and browser extensions. Pros: Besides Wappalyzer, no other tech stack scanner I've tried properly detects meta frameworks. For example, try scanning the astro.build website with the builtwith.com technology profile tool, it can't even detect the astro framework, pretty useless if you ask me! Some cool features about the Wappalyzer plugin I appreciate are: 1. ~~Ability to toggle the extension on and off from the Chrome Wappalyzer Icon~~ (see #1 Cons below). Update: this only works on individual websites. It needs to be global as I don't want the extension on all the time and to disable for each website is not practical. For this I'm removing two stars from my 5 star rating. 2. Use technology icon instead of Wappalyzer logo extension option. 3. Slick UI including Dark Mode toggle. 4. This plugin does not require you to signup and login unlike their website which does require you to signup in order to scan. Cons: 1. The biggest for me is that you have to manually disable this extension as the toggle switch from the pinned icon only works per site. Who wants Wappalyzer running all the time hogging up resources in their browser? I sure don't... Software Devs and Wappalyzer, if you read this, can you please consider making an easy way to disable this extension globally and not only per website? I do like to use this extension frequently, just not all the time (and yes, I'm too lazy to manage extensions and manually enable/disable Wappalyzer, that's a nuisance)... 3. Wappalyzer could do a better job at updating their CMS detection. For example, they didn't detect Directus, Payload CMS, Tina CMS or Strapi; but to their credit, they did detect Contentful, Storyblok, Grav CMS and even Page builders like Webflow & Elementor.
best tool. top 3 needed when developing web
Thanks for the developer that they have made such a valuable extension to analyze any website.
É uma aplicação maravilhosa! Da para você saber quais tecnologias o mercado mais está usando para poder estudar. Agora, recentimente tem acontecido algo chato, que é quando você vai para o site a partir da extensão, a página do app é encolhida. Poderiam verificar?
