Overview

Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

This extension is a privacy-focused two-factor authenticator (2FA) that uses the same encrypted vault format as Aegis Authenticator. Your authentication tokens are stored by user in a locally encrypted JSON file, giving you full ownership and control over your data while remaining compatible with existing Aegis backups and exports.

> Strong Encryption

All OTP secrets are protected using Aegis-compatible encryption. Before any data is written to disk, it is encrypted locally on your device using your password. The resulting file cannot be read without the correct password, helping protect your accounts even if the file is copied, uploaded, or intercepted.

Because encryption happens entirely offline, your secrets never need to be sent to external servers or cloud providers.

> Local Encrypted Storage

The extension stores all data in a local encrypted JSON file on disk instead of relying on proprietary cloud synchronization. This allows you to use any synchronization or backup solution you prefer to share the encrypted vault between multiple PCs and browsers. Since the file always remains encrypted, it can safely be synchronized or backed up using third-party services.
