Only after installation you will see that using it requires an account. After signing up you are forced to "Upgrade" to a paid subscription in order to use it. So much for "Free to use. Forever."...

“The new build of Forest has just been submitted. It's currently being reviewed at the extension store. This is the new app site therefore only the new version will work for this! Thank you for your support!” Just when was this new build submitted? Don't tell me it s refering to the 2023 version?

really nice and the closest one from Firefox
Be careful! I have used a lot of Windows and Tab-Managers and Forest is the only one, which expect to get the "read and change all your data on all websites" access permissions. Pretty sure the provider doesn't bother to explicitly state which accesses they actually need - *so they just demand access to all your data!*
getforest.io has no transparency: - it does not list, which features are free - it does not list the price for this service Therefore, it's easy to decide: Uninstall it. I hate surprises with my credit card.
