Lightning Extension is a library of features created by the Lightning Product Management team at Salesforce. This extension is designed to complement the user experience with continuous productivity feature releases. These features provide end users with rich enhancements that aren’t available out-of-the-box with Lightning, like Dark Mode.
Admins can control which features are made available to their users. To control access to features, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Lightning Extension, and then select Lightning Extension. From there, you can change your users’ access to individual features, or access to the extension itself. Changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Note: Dark mode is temporarily disabled. We’re working to make it available again.

Any news when Dark Mode is coming back, ETA?

Giving this a 1 star until DARK MODE is returned.
Dark mode, PLEASE!! This is great to make sure all tabs open in my same sales console window, but my eyes will be singing your praises when you bring back Dark Mode.
Sales force gives very flexibility in many areas and very user friendly for both experienced and non experienced IT people. If Sales forces team is working on some features, we have to give some times to finish it. Might be they are facing some issue with it. Even we stuck with one code line item it's takes hours to resolve it. As developer we have to understand the situation.so we have to just wait.
Dark mode doesn't work, greyed out. Extension advertises dark mode, but doesn't actually provide dark mode.
For the ones complaining you can enable the dark mode by playing with the source files of the extension... Obviously you need to enable the developer mode in chrome extensions panel and upload the extension package manually... Not perfect, but at least it's dark...
