INJECTS ADS. DO NOT INSTALL. sadly, it was one of the most used extensions for me. you can disable the option in settings, but they enabled without permission. 1 STAR.
ts actually good
Like many others, I can testify that while it is generally good and has been very nice for the most part, unfortunately, it has started injecting unwanted hidden ads. Not what is signed up for.
Injects malware gambling ads
good
this shows unwanted hidden ads This ad is being injected into the page by a browser extension. Investigation Findings: Source Domain: The ad content (images and tracking links) is hosted on mediaintelliview.com. Injection Method: The ad is contained within a Shadow DOM attached to a <div id="miv-banner-widget-host">. This is a common technique used by browser extensions to isolate their UI from the website's own styles. Extension ID: The click-through URL for the ad specifically includes the parameter extensionId=hhfnghjdeddcfegfekjeihfmbjenlomm. Context: The ad is absolute-positioned and layered on top of the page content using a high z-index (as seen in the sibling elements like span.ad-label with z-index: 4).
A nice extension that I used for many years, but it has become invasive. I got so upset that I decided to write an alternative that is fully compatible with import/export feature; now I am not at the whim of any developer like this. If you like, you can search for TimeTrace on github and install that as an alternative.
